Holster description
Standard IWB
Use: Concealed carry, Non-Tuckable, Comfort level 7
Concealability 8 (add the mod wing you could push it to 9.5)
The Standard IWB is a “Taco” holster designed to be carried at 3 or 4 o’clock with 15° cant. However, can be ordered at 0° cant for 1 o’clock appendix carry. Holster is non tuck-able, what this means is that you cannot tuck a shirt in over the gun. It’s designed to have a shirt hang/drape over the holster. All DME Holsters are designed with a full sweat guard, inside mag release uncovered, adjustable retention, trigger guard covered, and barrel enclose with a quarter inch slit for cleaning. Made out of .080 Kydex/Boltaron.
Available belt attachments: FOIM belt clips in 1.5” or 1.75”, 2 Soft belt loops accommodate up to a 1.75” belt. Belt attachments are attached to the top of the holster.

The Mod Wing is a piece of concealment enhancing hardware, and it allows a user’s belt to apply additional leverage to rotate the holster and the grip of the gun towards the body. This creates better concealment and less printing of the firearm/Grip. Interchangeable inserts allow the user to choose a strong medium or mild rotation, based on the user’s attire. The mod wing is an independent piece of hardware that can be removed if ordered with the holster. The Mod Wing cannot be added to holster if it was not originally ordered with one. Holsters are cut differently without the Mod Wing.

Designed to be carried at 1 o’clock, appendix carry however, can be worn at any position on the body. It is a tuck-able holster. The Standard AIWB has the same design characteristics as the Standard IWB. The difference is in the mounting and type of belt attachments. The belt attachment is mounted on the bottom of the holster on or just under the barrel. The gap that is created between the attachment in the holster is what allows the holster to be a tuck-able holster. We only use one J hook or strut.
Available belt attachments J Hooks 1.5” or 1.75”, 1 Strut and soft belt loop with pull the dot snap will accommodate up to 1.75” belt, Fat Clip accommodates up to a 1.75” belt. Ulti Clips.

Use: Opened carry, Range holster, Duty holster, Comfort level 9, Concealability 3
The Standard OWB has the same design characteristics as the Standard IWB. The holster looks the same as the AIWB or IWB. The differences are in the belt attachments and material thickness. The standard outside the waistband holster is made out of .093 Kydex/Boltaron. When possible, belt attachment points are reinforced. This is the weakest part of the holster. This reinforcement eliminates that.
Available belt attachments Combat loop, Tek-Lok, Drop & offsets, Paddles, TIMMS system QLS System Speed Clips and a few others. Most will accommodate up to a 2” belt.
Holsters can also be ordered with level ll retention.
Pancake Holster
Use: Open carry, Concealed carry, Comfort level 8, Concealability 6.5-8.5
The Pancake holster has all the same design characteristics as the Standard IWB. The difference is that it is not a “taco” holster. The gun is sandwiched between two pieces of .080 Kydex/Boltaron and riveted on the sides. (Maybe it should be called a sandwich holster.) Weight of the gun is distributed over 4 to 6 inches. Our pancake holster design is slightly different than most. To help with comfort and concealability the front wing is set at 35°, the back wing is set at 20°. “Wings are where the rivets go”. What this does is allows your belt to pull the back of the holster closer to your body. This is to help keep the grip from printing if you’re wearing it outside the waistband with a shirt draped over it. The gun is generally straight up and down in the holster. Small guns without lights or lasers will be tilted in the holster about 5°. Belt attachments are attached to the rivets. Depending on how many rivets are forward or back of the holster, ride height can be adjusted simply by moving the belt attachment up or down the rivets. Cant is achieved by offsetting the belt attachments. Holsters are shipped with belt attachments offset ¾ of an inch which is about 10° cant. Available left or right-handed. Belt attachments Speed Clips, Flat Loops, Infinity loops and belt loops. All available in 1.5 to 1.75 inch.
The pancake holster can also be converted into a inside the waistband holster. (IWB). All one needs to do is remove you’re outside the waistband attachments and install J hooks or struts with soft belt loops on the front side of the holster. We sell kits for that. You may also need to round some of the lower corners on your holster to aid in comfort while wearing it inside the waistband. This can be done simply by sanding. Start with 220 grit then 400.

Perfect fit, seems to be good and durable construction, and I like the variety of options for kitting it out. It is certainly expensive, but not being able to find a good, left-handed drop leg holster for a 10 mm Springfield anywhere else, I’m glad DME is around to make what no one else is. Hard to find holsters in general for the XDM 3.8 with ANY light but was happy to see the selection of light support by DME. Holster fits the firearm and light very good and shipping was very reasonable for a custom piece. Would definitely recommend for any gun/light combo. My only complaint, if you could even call it that, is a lack of adjustable cant on the holster.

The custom holster from DME exceeds my high expectations! I ordered a custom holster to fit a full size XDM handgun that has a custom dovetail optics mount, with a larger (Olight Baldr Pro R) light on the rail, and even with the accessories the fit & finish is great! I also upgraded thru DME and got the retention, which turned out to be a nice choice.

Literally no one makes a holster for an XDM Elite Compact 3.8 with an Olight Baldr Mini. I like the Baldr Mini more than comparable offerings from other brands so I set out to find a holster for it.
Eventually I ended up here, the only online store I found that gives you a la carte options to spec a holster to fit your needs. This is my first time buying a DME holster and I can honestly say I am very satisfied with the results. The holster itself is comfortable and has an excellent fit and finish. The kydex is a little bit thicker than some of my other holsters but I think that is a good thing, seems more durable.
I was hesitant to order a holster from here because there really aren’t any pictures for reference so I was not sure what I was getting however I can say the holster met my expectations in every way and I am very pleased with it.

OMG, I just have to tell you that I LOVE this holster. My Springfield XDMT fits perfectly even with the threaded barrel protector attached. My other XDM (none threaded barrel XDM) also fits. I love the construction. It is so well made. Thanks,
Up to now, I have been using the Crossbreed Freedom Carry made for this gun. The main problem with it is that the attachment clip is off to the side and fairly narrow and only one clip so the holster cant moves around. I don’t like the leather back as my stomach leans on it and it affects the draw. I tried to get Crossbreed to make The Reckoning holster but they are not doing light/laser attachments yet. I like that your holster has a solid Kydex back. And as it turns out, your holster conceals better than the Freedom Carry I was using.Thanks for a great holster.

This custom AIWB holster for my primary carry is excellent! It is extremely comfortable, fits great, and seems durable so far. The wait was a little long, but worth it in the end. I’ve had the holster for my XDm Elite 4.5” threaded barrel equipped with a Holosun optic and streamlight TLR1 HL for about a week now. It’s super comfortable. No sharp edges and seems to be made exceptionally well. I carry this duty sized pistol in the appendix position and this holster allows me to do so very comfortably. I’m extremely happy with my purchase and will be ordering another holster soon. This is an awesome upgrade to my edc set up and would recommend this holster to anyone contemplating buying one.

Perfect fit, seems to be good and durable construction, and I like the variety of options for kitting it out. It is certainly expensive, but not being able to find a good, left-handed drop leg holster for a 10 mm Springfield anywhere else, I’m glad DME is around to make what no one else is. Order fulfillment and shipping was timely. In all, I would say worth the money.

This is my first time purchasing from DME Holsters and won’t be my last. Zero complaints. It took a bit to receive the order, but this is a custom piece, so that is to be expected. The fit of the holster with my xdm is perfect. I’m getting ready to purchase a second to fit a weapon light. Great product, great service, awesome company. (It should also be mentioned that I had a question prior to placing the order. My call was promptly picked up and question answered).

Hard to find holsters in general for the XDM 3.8 with ANY light but was happy to see the selection of light support by DME. Holster fits the firearm and light very good and shipping was very reasonable for a custom piece. Would definitely recommend for any gun/light combo. My only complaint, if you could even call it that, is a lack of adjustable cant on the holster.

The custom holster from DME exceeds my high expectations! I ordered a custom holster to fit a full size XDM handgun that has a custom dovetail optics mount, with a larger (Olight Baldr Pro R) light on the rail, and even with the accessories the fit & finish is great! I also upgraded thru DME and got the retention, which turned out to be a nice choice.
Added benefit that DME offers Blade-Tech attachment options!

Literally no one makes a holster for an XDM Elite Compact 3.8 with an Olight Baldr Mini. I like the Baldr Mini more than comparable offerings from other brands so I set out to find a holster for it.
Eventually I ended up here, the only online store I found that gives you a la carte options to spec a holster to fit your needs. This is my first time buying a DME holster and I can honestly say I am very satisfied with the results. The holster itself is comfortable and has an excellent fit and finish. The kydex is a little bit thicker than some of my other holsters but I think that is a good thing, seems more durable.
I was hesitant to order a holster from here because there really aren’t any pictures for reference so I was not sure what I was getting however I can say the holster met my expectations in every way and I am very pleased with it.

My very first custom holster purchase, and I am not disappointed with my purchase at all. Definitely don’t regret spending the extra money to adjust for my reticle sight and laser pointer slapped on to my sidearm. I even swap it out for my standard XDM-E that has zero attachments and holster it. Well worth the wait and money for my own personal needs.
