Appendix carry
Simply what it sounds like the weapon is carried on the front of your body between your groin and your left or right hip. It’s for the physically fit people. It doesn’t work too well with a beer belly. Belt clips, soft belt loops or J hooks are excellent choices for this position.

3 to 4 o’clock for right-handed people.
8 to 9 o’clock for left-handed people.
This works well for everybody. I highly recommend the belt clip for this position. Soft belt loops & J hooks in my opinion work very well here. Look at your pants your second belt loop is most likely at about 3:30 position. Your J Hook will hook behind that belt loop and your holster will have a tendency to slidebackwards. A belt clip will hook in front of that loop and keep your holster in place at the 3 o’clock position. However, some of you will still need to use the soft belt loops or J hooks, because they are tuckable. Belt clips are not. If you have to have something that is tuckable. I would recommend the J hook.

Small of the back.
You are carrying your weapon at the 6 o’clock position in the middle of your back. I Definitely don’t recommend it. If you fall on your back or get pushed into something, you’re going to hurt your back.

Pretty simple! Just a matter of preference. I personally prefer a close barrel.
And you never want to be completely closed barrel never be able to get anything out of there including water.

Inside the Waistband,  this is what a police detective, undercover officer, or someone with a CCW permit would use. The bottom portion of the holster is concealed within your pants. Typically the butt of the gun is exposed for you to  easily draw your weapon.

Belts, it’s imperative that you wear a high-quality belt.

IWB Attaching Hardware

#1 The Ulti Clip
By far the best clip hands down. It works on any type of clothing Clip it on your jeans put your belt on over extremely concealable. It’s tuckable easy on and off very convenient and easy to use.  For the lady’s clip in to your purse? yoga pants? The only thing I don’t like is they do not offer an offset clip. So when you attach it under the barrel it has to be built up with washers. Also they like them $11.99 each
Used for the Standard AIWB line of holsters.

#2 Soft Belt loops
Are the second best overall, with pull the dot snaps very secure. Used with a strut as shown they are tuckable.
Used for the Standard AIWB line of holsters.
Can also be mounted directly to the holster (Not tuckable)
Used for the Standard IWB line of holsters.
They are adjustable to accommodate  about 1.25″ to 2.00″ belt.

#3 J Hooks
Coming in at third in my opinion. J hooks are tuckable can be mounted on the barrel or under. Very easy to put on. Very secure in holding on to your belt. avabile in 1.5″ or 1.75″.
Used for the Standard AIWB line of holsters.

#4 The FOMI
This is the industry standard for IWB holsters. Comes in 1.5″ or 1.75″ Very easy to put on and take off. The FOIM is not tuckable. If you put on and take of your holster a lot during the day, this is the way to go. But user beware if not correctly sized to your belt or mounted to the holster, your holster could come out when you draw. That being said it is still the industry standard you just need to be mindful of it.

#5 Metal Clips
There are tuckable can be mounted on or under the barrel.

You can also order extra belt clips or J hooks, it’s not very hard to change them out.

OWB Attaching Hardware

Long Duty Drop Offset

For the Standard OWB Holster I personally recommend the Long Duty Drop & off set with the adjustable SR loop. If you decide you don’t want your holster to ride that low you can remove the Long Duty Drop and attach the Adjustable SR Loop directly to the holster. Large Tek-Lok

Standard OWB Holster, comes with the large TeK-Loc or the Adjustable SR Loop. Size is adjustable from approximately 3/4′ to 2 1/4″. When mounted to the holster your belt will be right around the trigger guard maybe a little higher then the trigger guard depending on your gun. Dimensions of the Tek Loc are 3″ x 2″.

Add the Long Duty Drop & Offset to your Standard OWB to lower your weapon 2 to 3 inches.

Adjustable Sting Ray Loop

This is the Adjustable SR Loop. Belt size is adjustable from approximately 3/4′ to 2 1/4″. When mounted to the holster your belt will be right around the trigger guard maybe a little higher then the trigger guard depending on your gun. Dimensions of the Tek Loc are 3″ x 3 3/4″.

Add the Long Duty Drop & Offset to your Standard OWB to lower your weapon 2 to 3 inches.

Drop Mount w/Adj SR Loop

This is the standard drop with an adjustable SR Loop. Trigger guard and drop are the same as the long drop. The long Drop has one more mounting point on the barrel which in my opinion makes it more sturdy.

Standard SR Loop mounts directly to the holster available and multiple belt sizes

Nothing for you to worry about here, once you select the attaching point. We will know if it is offset or not.

The advantage to a single attachment point user has the ability to adjust the cant on-the-fly.

Fixed attachment point
The user has no ability to adjust the cant on the fixed option the cant will be 90°.

1) Stock screw set is just a Phillips head screw and binding post.
2) Phillips head screw & finish washer, adds a nice touch to your holster.
3) Cap head screw and finish washer, adds the finishing touch to your holster.
If you’re not sure what you want you can of course purchase a hardware pack.
Hardware pack includes all three options and an Allen wrench. Very easy to change out.

We try to set the holster up to minimize the footprint. To do this we tilt the gun forward. This will help you to conceal your weapon when you are carrying it. See photo to the right.
