Holster description
Standard IWB
Use: Concealed carry, Non-Tuckable, Comfort level 7
Concealability 8 (add the mod wing you could push it to 9.5)
The Standard IWB is a “Taco” holster designed to be carried at 3 or 4 o’clock with 15° cant. However, can be ordered at 0° cant for 1 o’clock appendix carry. Holster is non tuck-able, what this means is that you cannot tuck a shirt in over the gun. It’s designed to have a shirt hang/drape over the holster. All DME Holsters are designed with a full sweat guard, inside mag release uncovered, adjustable retention, trigger guard covered, and barrel enclose with a quarter inch slit for cleaning. Made out of .080 Kydex/Boltaron.
Available belt attachments: FOIM belt clips in 1.5” or 1.75”, 2 Soft belt loops accommodate up to a 1.75” belt. Belt attachments are attached to the top of the holster.

For extra concealability you can also order the Mod Wing. The Mod Wing is a piece of concealment enhancing hardware, and it allows a user’s belt to apply additional leverage to rotate the holster and the grip of the gun towards the body. This creates better concealment and less printing of the firearm/Grip. Interchangeable inserts allow the user to choose a strong medium or mild rotation, based on the user’s attire. The mod wing is an independent piece of hardware that can be removed if ordered with the holster. The Mod Wing cannot be added to holster if it was not originally ordered with one. Holsters are cut differently without the Mod Wing.

The Standard AIWB has the same design characteristics as the Standard IWB. The difference is in the mounting and type of belt attachments. The belt attachment is mounted on the bottom of the holster on or just under the barrel. The gap that is created between the attachment in the holster is what allows the holster to be a tuck-able holster. We only use one J hook or strut.
Available belt attachments J Hooks 1.5” or 1.75”, 1 Strut and soft belt loop with pull the dot snap will accommodate up to 1.75” belt, Fat Clip accommodates up to a 1.75” belt. Ulti Clips.

Use: Opened carry, Range holster, Duty holster, Comfort level 9, Concealability 3
The Standard OWB has the same design characteristics as the Standard IWB. The holster looks the same as the AIWB or IWB. The differences are in the belt attachments and material thickness. The standard outside the waistband holster is made out of .093 Kydex/Boltaron. When possible, belt attachment points are reinforced. This is the weakest part of the holster. This reinforcement eliminates that.
Available belt attachments Combat loop, Tek-Lok, Drop & offsets, Paddles, TIMMS system QLS System Speed Clips and a few others. Most will accommodate up to a 2” belt.
Holsters can also be ordered with level ll retention.
Pancake Holster
Use: Open carry, Concealed carry, Comfort level 8, Concealability 6.5-8.5
The Pancake holster has all the same design characteristics as the Standard IWB. The difference is that it is not a “taco” holster. The gun is sandwiched between two pieces of .080 Kydex/Boltaron and riveted on the sides. (Maybe it should be called a sandwich holster.) Weight of the gun is distributed over 4 to 6 inches. Our pancake holster design is slightly different than most. To help with comfort and concealability the front wing is set at 35°, the back wing is set at 20°. “Wings are where the rivets go”. What this does is allows your belt to pull the back of the holster closer to your body. This is to help keep the grip from printing if you’re wearing it outside the waistband with a shirt draped over it. The gun is generally straight up and down in the holster. Small guns without lights or lasers will be tilted in the holster about 5°. Belt attachments are attached to the rivets. Depending on how many rivets are forward or back of the holster, ride height can be adjusted simply by moving the belt attachment up or down the rivets. Cant is achieved by offsetting the belt attachments. Holsters are shipped with belt attachments offset ¾ of an inch which is about 10° cant. Available left or right-handed. Belt attachments Speed Clips, Flat Loops, Infinity loops and belt loops. All available in 1.5 to 1.75 inch.
The pancake holster can also be converted into a inside the waistband holster. (IWB). All one needs to do is remove you’re outside the waistband attachments and install J hooks or struts with soft belt loops on the front side of the holster. We sell kits for that. You may also need to round some of the lower corners on your holster to aid in comfort while wearing it inside the waistband. This can be done simply by sanding. Start with 220 grit then 400.

My order came quickly, and I didn’t have to wait long for my holster. It was exactly what I ordered, also the magazine carrier fit very well too, not a cheapy one, but a good quality one. The pistol with the ret dot installed (which is hard to find), fits really well, and the belt attachment was properly installed the way I wanted it too.

The holster looks great and has a perfect fit for my 1911. I requested the Safari Land QLS system for my holster and they delivered. It came with the locking fork attached to the holster with their own “DMEholsters.com” printed on the fork. It feels really solid overall. I also chose the WRS style hood, it is a little stiff but I am sure I can adjust it. The hood’s fitment is perfect and leaves zero movement available for my gun while it is in the holster, though that is only possible because the general fitment of the holster is just on point. I heard about these guys from Clint Morgan from Classic Firearms, and I don’t think I’ll be buying a holster from a different company in the future, as long as they can make what I want/need at the time.
From me personally, I want to thank you guys at DME for quality work you do. I was not supposed to receive my holster until January, but you guys made it happen 3 months earlier and I really appreciate that. I’ll be letting you guys know about the next time I need a new holster!

After scouring the internet to find an off-the-shelf holster for my Springfield Armory MC Operator equipped with a Streamlight TLR-1HL, I found DME Holsters. They built me a custom fit kydex holster that fits my sidearm like a glove! Right out of the box, the holster fit my weapon as if it came off the Springfield assembly line wearing this holster. I added on extras like the Bladetech drop mount and extra loops for a leg strap which allows me to securely and comfortably run this holster on my battle belt while wearing a plate carrier without any draw interference. After adjusting the retention to my desired setting, the draw/reholster are extremely smooth and natural. I contacted customer service with a question about the drop mount and they immediately responded. This is an excellent quality holster made to the highest standards by a great company that values good customer service. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality holster that is built to last. You won’t regret it!

I ordered a custom IWB for my Springfield Armory Compact from the 90’s. In addition, it has a Streamlight TLR-6 attached to the trigger guard. I put all of this in the comments on the order, and the holster arrived right on time. The gun fits like a glove, the holster is super comfortable and retention is perfect. Would definitely buy again!

Great Fitting Holster
Purchased 2 holsters for my Springfield EMP 40 with a TRL-6 light. I ordered the OWB and IWB holsters. The holsters are extremely well made and fit perfect. Very impressed with the quality.

My order came quickly, and I didn’t have to wait long for my holster. It was exactly what I ordered, also the magazine carrier fit very well too, not a cheapy one, but a good quality one. The pistol with the ret dot installed (which is hard to find), fits really well, and the belt attachment was properly installed the way I wanted it too.

The holster looks great and has a perfect fit for my 1911. I requested the Safari Land QLS system for my holster and they delivered. It came with the locking fork attached to the holster with their own “DMEholsters.com” printed on the fork. It feels really solid overall. I also chose the WRS style hood, it is a little stiff but I am sure I can adjust it. The hood’s fitment is perfect and leaves zero movement available for my gun while it is in the holster, though that is only possible because the general fitment of the holster is just on point. I heard about these guys from Clint Morgan from Classic Firearms, and I don’t think I’ll be buying a holster from a different company in the future, as long as they can make what I want/need at the time.
From me personally, I want to thank you guys at DME for quality work you do. I was not supposed to receive my holster until January, but you guys made it happen 3 months earlier and I really appreciate that. I’ll be letting you guys know about the next time I need a new holster!

After scouring the internet to find an off-the-shelf holster for my Springfield Armory MC Operator equipped with a Streamlight TLR-1HL, I found DME Holsters. They built me a custom fit kydex holster that fits my sidearm like a glove! Right out of the box, the holster fit my weapon as if it came off the Springfield assembly line wearing this holster. I added on extras like the Bladetech drop mount and extra loops for a leg strap which allows me to securely and comfortably run this holster on my battle belt while wearing a plate carrier without any draw interference. After adjusting the retention to my desired setting, the draw/reholster are extremely smooth and natural. I contacted customer service with a question about the drop mount and they immediately responded. This is an excellent quality holster made to the highest standards by a great company that values good customer service. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality holster that is built to last. You won’t regret it!

I ordered a custom IWB for my Springfield Armory Compact from the 90’s. In addition, it has a Streamlight TLR-6 attached to the trigger guard. I put all of this in the comments on the order, and the holster arrived right on time. The gun fits like a glove, the holster is super comfortable and retention is perfect.
