DME Holsters Guaranteed Fit
When you order a DME Holster for a supported firearm and accessory configuration, we guarantee that the holster will fit the configuration it was built for.
Every DME holster is manufactured for the firearm, hand, carry style, weapon-mounted light or laser, and other options selected when the order is placed. Completed holsters are fit-checked before shipment whenever the configuration allows us to test with the actual firearm and accessories.
Even with careful manufacturing and fit testing, dimensional differences between firearms and accessories can occasionally affect fit. If your DME holster does not fit the configuration it was ordered for, we want to know about it and will work with you to correct the problem.
The Guaranteed Fit applies to the exact firearm and accessory configuration selected on the order form.
What the DME Guaranteed Fit Covers
The DME Guaranteed Fit applies when the firearm, weapon-mounted light or laser, and other configuration information entered on the order form accurately matches the equipment being used.
If the information was entered correctly and the holster does not fit, contact DME. We will work with you to determine the cause and, when possible, correct or remake the holster. If we cannot provide a properly fitting holster for the correctly ordered configuration, we will issue a refund.
The guarantee does not apply when the firearm or accessory being used is different from what was selected on the order form.
For example, a customer who orders a holster for a Streamlight TLR-1 must actually be using the supported Streamlight TLR-1 model selected. A different manufacturer’s light advertised as using a “TLR-1 footprint” is not necessarily the same size or shape and is not considered the same accessory for holster-fit purposes.
Third-party claims that an accessory is “compatible with” or “the same footprint as” another product do not guarantee that the external dimensions, switches, body shape, or retention surfaces are identical.
Order the Correct Firearm and Accessories
The DME Guaranteed Fit depends on the information provided when the order is placed. Before submitting your order, make sure the selections on the order form match the equipment you actually have.
Please verify:
-
The exact firearm model and variant
-
Right- or left-handed holster
-
The exact manufacturer and model of any weapon-mounted light or laser
-
Whether the firearm has a red-dot optic
-
Whether it has a threaded barrel
-
Whether it uses an aftermarket compensator
-
Any other firearm or accessory option requested on the order form
Do not assume that two firearms or accessories will fit the same holster simply because they look similar or are advertised as compatible with one another. Small differences in the trigger guard, frame, rail, slide, light body, switches, or other dimensions can affect holster fit and retention.
If you are unsure which option to select, contact DME before ordering. We would rather verify the configuration first than build a holster for the wrong equipment.
What Happens If Your Holster Does Not Fit?
If the firearm and accessories were ordered correctly but the holster does not fit as expected, contact DME before attempting major adjustments or modifications.
Please provide your order number, describe the fit problem, and let us know exactly what firearm and accessories you are using. We may ask for photographs, measurements, or other information to help determine the cause before the holster is returned.
Depending on the issue, DME may:
-
Help you make a simple adjustment
-
Have the holster returned for adjustment
-
Remake the holster when necessary
-
Verify the firearm, light, laser, or other accessory configuration
For the first requested fit adjustment, DME will cover shipping both ways. If additional adjustments are requested later, the customer is responsible for shipping the holster to DME, and DME will pay the return shipping.
If the order information was correct and, after working with you, DME cannot provide a holster that properly fits the configuration it was ordered for, we will issue a refund.
Please contact us before modifying the holster in a way that could prevent us from properly evaluating the original fit issue.
