What does the lifetime warranty cover?
Defects in materials and workmanship, including retention hardware, for the original purchaser.

What isn’t covered?
Abuse, modifications, or exposure to heat over 180°F; returns must be unmodified and require an RMA.

What is your return/refund policy?
Standard black, no-light/laser holsters: 30-day full refund. Custom holsters (color, light/laser/optic): 60% restocking fee. After 30 days, warranty is repair/replace (no refunds).

Springfield XDM Kydex Holster – OWB & IWB Options

DME Holster's Springfield XDM holster is proudly made in the USA using rugged .080/.093 Kydex or Boltaron. It is custom-molded to fit popular Springfield models:

This Kydex holster for Springfield XDM is available for both inside-the-waistband (IWB) and outside-the-waistband (OWB) carry. Choose your preferred carry position: 0° cant for appendix or 15° for 3–4 o'clock carry. Multiple belt attachment options are available.

IWB Holster Details

The IWB version is a taco-style holster designed to be worn at 3–4 o’clock with a 15° cant or appendix at 0°.

IWB Features:

  • FOIM belt clips (1.5" ) or soft loops

  • Non-tuckable standard design (shirt drapes over the holster)

  • Optional Mod Wing for enhanced concealment

  • Inside mag release uncovered, covered trigger guard

Pancake Holster Option

Our pancake holster "sandwiches" your firearm between two Kydex panels, distributing the weight for added comfort and adjustability. It can be converted to IWB with an optional Mod Kit.

For belt attachment, we use the BT Mod-Lok System, designed to keep the holster’s footprint as compact as possible. The firearm typically sits in a straight vertical position, but ride height can be adjusted by moving the Mod-Lok belt attachments up or down the rivet holes. Cant is controlled by offsetting the belt attachments — our standard configuration ships with a ¾-inch offset, providing approximately 10° of forward cant.

Each pancake holster is sold as a complete system and includes both inside-the-waistband (IWB) and outside-the-waistband (OWB) belt attachments. This allows you to easily switch between carry styles without needing to buy extra hardware.

The pancake holster is convertible to IWB carry using the included IWB Mod kit. For added comfort when worn inside the waistband, we recommend rounding the lower corners of the holster using 220- and 400-grit sandpaper.

Available for both left- and right-handed users.

There are four different belt attachments belt loops that can be used with the Mod-Lock system. Swapping the belt mods takes about two seconds.

Is this holster compatible with all Springfield XDM models?

Yes. Our holster is custom-molded to fit Springfield XDM 3.8", 4.5", 4.5 OSP, 5.25", and Elite models. Please select your exact model and caliber during checkout to ensure proper fit.

Does the Pancake holster come with both IWB and OWB belt attachments?

Yes. Each pancake holster includes both inside-the-waistband (IWB) and outside-the-waistband (OWB) Mod-Lok belt attachments, so you can switch carry styles without buying extra parts.

Can I adjust the ride height and cant of the holster?

Only on the Pancake. The Mod-Lok system allows you to easily adjust both ride height and cant angle by moving the belt attachments along the rivets.

Is the holster tuckable for concealed carry?

The IWB configuration is non-tuckable, meaning your shirt will drape over the holster rather than tuck between the holster and your waistband. For extra concealment, you can add the optional Mod Wing.

Can I order this holster to appendix carry?

Yes. You can order your holster with 0° cant for appendix (AIWB) carry. It’s a great option for deep concealment, especially when paired with the Mod Wing.

Is this holster compatible with weapon-mounted lights or lasers?

Yes. We offer holster options compatible with popular weapon lights and lasers, including:

  • Streamlight TLR-1, TLR-6, TLR-7, TLR-7 Sub, TLR-8

  • Crimson Trace lights and lasers

  • Viridian, Olight, and other rail-mounted lights (depending on availability)

We offer a 30-day, no-questions-asked refund policy on any standard holster ordered in black with no weapon light, laser, or optic cut. If you’re not satisfied, simply contact us within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.

Custom Holster Policy

Holsters ordered with a light, laser, RMR/optic cut, or in any color other than black are considered custom products and are nonrefundable.

We stand behind the fit of our holsters. Every order is based on a detailed form that includes the exact firearm model, light or laser (if applicable), holster type, carry side (right or left), and other key specs. If you fill out the form accurately and your holster doesn’t fit — and we cannot determine a reason for the misfit — we will:

It is certainly expensive, but not being able to find a good, left-handed drop leg holster for a 10 mm Springfield anywhere else, I’m glad DME is around to make what no one else is. Holster fits the firearm and light very good and shipping was very reasonable for a custom piece. Would definitely recommend for any gun/light combo. My only complaint, if you could even call it that, is a lack of adjustable cant on the holster.

    Literally no one makes a holster for an XDM Elite Compact 3.8 with an Olight Baldr Mini. I like the Baldr Mini more than comparable offerings from other brands so I set out to find a holster for it.

    Eventually I ended up here, the only online store I found that gives you a la carte options to spec a holster to fit your needs. This is my first time buying a DME holster and I can honestly say I am very satisfied with the results. The holster itself is comfortable and has an excellent fit and finish. The kydex is a little bit thicker than some of my other holsters but I think that is a good thing, seems more durable.

    I was hesitant to order a holster from here because there really aren’t any pictures for reference so I was not sure what I was getting however I can say the holster met my expectations in every way and I am very pleased with it.

    Up to now, I have been using the Crossbreed Freedom Carry made for this gun. The main problem with it is that the attachment clip is off to the side and fairly narrow and only one clip so the holster cant moves around. I don’t like the leather back as my stomach leans on it and it affects the draw. I tried to get Crossbreed to make The Reckoning holster but they are not doing light/laser attachments yet. I like that your holster has a solid Kydex back. And as it turns out, your holster conceals better than the Freedom Carry I was using.
